Location is a challenge

For lots of reasons, I need to be in San Diego after college. I'll have finished my BS in finance. My goal is investment or asset management. I want to put myself in a position to be attuned at extremely thorough research and possibly move to hedge funds some day. I should have 2 internships under my belt at that point. I can go anywhere for the internships but...does anyone know of a directory or just have a list of companies in the san diego area that I might pursue?
