Looking for advise on applying IB full time from accounting background .

hi guys, I am currently in my senior year at UW. I got 2 tax interns (one big 4, one big 8) and currently working for a start-up investment banking firm as an intern.

In junior year, I was interested in M&A tax, so I wanted to do M&A tax, but I realized that I wanted to work deal in IB after having actual work experience as a tax intern (tax is kind of repetitive). Then I started applying for the 2024 summer analyst internship. I got 6-7 middle market and boutique interviews, studied all those technicals ( M&A 400 ASK, different training books), but I didn't pass all those final rounds. I currently working for a start-up investment banking firm as an intern, focusing on cybersecurity company deals. I'm pretty sad and feeling down that I didn't make it to any of these interviews, but I don't want to give up yet.

I work on networking as well, but people around me are in tech as SDE, so it is very hard to meet someone working in IB at the Northwest.

Question : I have a GPA of 3.8 and a major gpa of 3.7, based on my current work experience in the start-up IB firm, Do I still have the chance breaking in IB ? Such as middle-market firm. I think I can only apply for a full-time analyst role. I have no idea what are applying full-time look like since I like most 90% full analyst transfer from summer intern.

I appreciate all the advice and comments. thank you.
