Job Description
- Support the production of monthly financial accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements for all legal entities managed out of Mintlaw
- Prepare the monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts.
- Provide assistance to the finance team where necessary
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of all relevant company returns and payments to statutory authorities such as: PAYE returns, VAT returns, Intrastat returns, etc.
- Daily postings of company bank accounts.
- Liaise with external auditors to assist with preparation of audit files and relevant schedules for the annual audit.
- Assist the annual budgeting process and relevant forecasts.
- Ad-hoc analysis projects as they arise.

The Successful Applicant
- Applicants will hold a professional Finance Qualification, either CA, ACCA or CIMA
- Ideally will come from a practice background
- Take responsibility for business performance and own professional development needs with Line Manager as identified at supervision and appraisal.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing Continuous Professional Development.
- Work with the management systems to promote the positive reputation of the organisation and to ensure the service operates in line with the legal requirements and best practice guidelines.
