Making the best of my current situation?
Hey everyone,
I have just started in an MO operations internship in the global credit risk division at a BB bank. I am a Sophomore in a middle tier school with a medicore GPA. My freshman year summer in interned in a BO role in a small brokerage, now making this my second internship. My goal is to move into FO, preferable IB. So my question here is what should I be trying to get out of this summer internship, and what else should I be doing in order to best position myself to move into a FO role for an internship next summer.
I say keep the internship and do the very best job you can. You'll be heading into junior year so you have lots of time to network, get your grades up, and pursue your goal of a FO role.

I'd stay put, MO is better than nothing, and it's tough, but not unheard of to move from MO to FO.
