Management Development vs. Bank Strategy Analyst
I am a senior at a target school. I'm considering an offer for a management development job in a big metropolitan city (not f500) in the south and a strategy analyst job at a top 20 bank in Boston. Honestly, I have no idea what I want to do in the future but I would like to keep as many doors open as possible. I think I would like to go to business school in the future.
MD Program
6 figures
100% free mba tuition
rotational program
Past MDs have gone on to top business schools (b-school would be free at Kellog, Wharton, Booth, Stern, and Columbia)
heavy operations management, supply chain and logistics focus
MDs come from top undergrads
Bank Strategy Analyst
little over 60 base
no mba sponsorship
unclear mba placement
BUT the work would be so much more interesting and I would report directly to c-suite leadership (ceo, cfo, etc)
