MBA preference
I've herd that it can put you at a disadvantage if you receive your MBA from the same school you did your undergrad. Is there any significance to this, and should you try to pursue your MBA from another institution?
I've heard it more with respect to other masters programs, especially for those entering academia. I wouldnt worry about it at the MBA level except with with respect to your geographical preference. But all MBA applicants should consider that.
I have found a lot of students simply dont want to return for their MBA at same school for their own reasons. I think what makes a good mba program is fit, goals and exp your seeking.
