MBA vs MFin for IB

Hi guys, wanted to ask your opinions on which route would be better given the scenarios below:

Background: >3 years experiences in IB and AM in a developing country in South East Asia, wanting to do an education in Canada to get into IB in Canada after. Which type of programs (MBA vs MFin) below do you think would be more ideal for me:

i) MBA (1 year)
Pros: I can recruit for IB as an associate and if successful this would be less time consuming than doing a Mfin (2 year) and then work my way from A2A

Cons: I think the 1 year program would not allow me chance for internship. Although I already worked in finance, I'm not sure the experience in another market (supposedly less standardized) would compensate for the lack of internship which I think would not be favorable for me in recruiting. I hear IB MBA recruit in Canada is not very popular so that seems to add more difficulties. I also think I might be a bit young/inexperienced for an MBA given I have only >3 years of working experiences.

ii) MFin (2 year)
Pros: I would have time for IB/internship. I would have more time to adapt to the new working and living environment in a new country, also less expensive than an MBA

Cons: A lot more time-consuming; Once I finish the Mfin and if I earn an IB job, I would join as an analyst. Assuming I enter as an experienced analyst (I have no idea on the possibility, but say 2nd year analyst), I would probably have to spend another 1.5 - 2 years to reach associate level. So the total time spent would be ~3-4 years, compared to 1 year to get to the same position if I was doing an MBA.

Thanks in advance for the advice guys. Please help add and correct me on the pros and cons I laid out if they seem lacking/inaccurate and even if you are not familiar with Canada market, any advice in terms of finance career in general would be much appreciated as well.
