MD Dating My Mom

Now that I’ve gotten your attention…

Rising sophomore here at one of the better public schools (UCLA, UVA, UT-Austin). I just transferred from a community college.

What do I put on my resume for my gpa???

I completely removed community college from my resume, but I won’t have a GPA at my new school until after most 2028 apps open.

Also, what do I do if an app ask for my transcripts? I won’t have anything on my transcript since I just transferred and my old school won’t be on my resume (for optics). Thx in advance

Is that not a red flag? Seeing that I transferred from a community college?

If anything, a random year-long gap is more of a red flag. People won’t care that you attended community college, if anything just spin out a story of growth. Wouldn’t risk the issues that could come with leaving it out

Not sure what you're template resume looks like, but I only have the end date on my resume for college not start, so really you can exclude your CC from your resume. For now just put your GPA from CC as a placeholder (only if it is high though) and if they ask for transcripts, im sure you can get it from CC, but usually they don't ask for transcripts during apps and usually wait until right before starting the internship or full time.
