Memphis, Charlotte, or Atlanta?

I live in Knoxville and have substantial connections in Charlotte and Atlanta, but I have been wondering what the investment banking scene in Memphis is like. I am thinking more of a MM or BB, but I would consider boutiques as well. If you could provide some insight into the culture and investment banking scenes of these cities, I would be appreciative.

I interned at Morgan Keegan (now RJ) one summer in Memphis. I've worked at 3 other investment banks since then and can tell you that the culture was much more laid back, but you really have to be a "good ole boy" to fit in there. Not sure if that has changed since the acquisition, though.

I'm not sure if there really are any additional investment banks of any real substance (or even marginal substance) in Memphis.

I think you would have a better professional experience in either Charlotte or Atlanta.
