Merrill Lynch vs. Scottrade

Well Ive been offered internships at both companies, I am currently an undergraduate senior.

Would it be wiser to take an unpaid internship at Merrill Lynch?

Or a paid internship at Scottrade?

The Merrill Lynch internship however is only unpaid for the first few months, then I would receive compensation

Thanks in advance

ML, I don't even think it matters which division or region, ML > Scottrade

ok thanks,

That's what I figured, but just wanted to get some assurance.

I would be in the Global Wealth Management division btw.
