Hi I got a return offer from an middle bank strong group in ibd (like Nomura, Mizuho…), but I also had one offer as an ibd summer analyst at Credit Suisse… I know this is complicated but I applied earlier to CS than the other bank. I know I want to do coverage groups and would try hard to get return. I don't mind hours or pay but value brand name and exit opportunities. Heard CS is having a huge layoff and impact on deal flow. Would love to hear any advice. Thanks!

CS hands down - job cuts are in no way impacting the capital markets and advisory groups - they're cutting back office and legacy prime brokerage / S&T jobs.
Yes, advisory will remains strong. I also recommend CS.
