Miller Buckfire first round phone interview
Anyone else hear back from Miller Buckfire regarding first round interviews? I have mine coming up and I was curious if anyone knew how to prep for it. I am assuming it will be highly technical, but how will it differ from a BB first round interview.
Thanks.
I believe mix of technical and fit, why miller buckfire, why IBD, etc.
I interviewed there for FT and they had 6, 2 on 1 Interviews. One of which, was technical but not to bad. Focus on how Depreciation runs through the statements, walk me thru DCF, all your common questions. Also, on on the 2 on 1's was to create a business plan and describe why your idea would work. Besides that, focus on all fit, esp why MB!
Any more details on what type of technicals? for SA that is.
did i mention that 1styearbanker is a zeroyear banker and total wanker???
Any more info?
Also, the individual at MB emailed me and received my resume through another associate I am guessing, so I do not believe he/she works for recruiting?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

hey monkeys,
had a few interviews for SA IBD positions and have done well so far.
however, ive got a phone interview coming up with Miller Buckfire and since they are known for restructuring, i'm wondering if their interview format/questions will be different from your typical SA IBD interview.. please advise
aside from the above, has anyone interviewed with them over the phone before that can provide some insights?
thanks fellas
not that different. show interest in the business and back it up

great thanks man.. anything else?
know some recent restructurings, smurfit stone was a big one. of course know ones that MB did specifically http://millerbuckfire.com/advisory_practice/deals/restructuring/latest
Had a 1st round on campus previously. Pretty standard... Why restructuring? Why MB? Mine was pretty technical. Some tough accounting questions if I am remembering correctly.
