Not sure specifically, but when doing group exercises...make sure you play nice with your teammates and be the kind of leader that doesn't do everything, but organizes the group to play on each persons strengths...actually it is best to make the other people look good as well.

At my place (not MS but a BB) our group exercise was almost exactly as you describe. Each person in the group is given a project to assess, you then decide which ones to cut.

Don't get precious about your project if its not great then admit that and cut it straight away, allowing you to mediate the discussion between the other candidates. Also try and sit in the middle as you will naturally be the focal point.
