MSF impact on base pay
Does anyone have any experience with first year Analysts receiving a higher base pay with an MSF than someone with a Bachelor's degree? If so, how much higher is pay? Thanks!

I think you will find in banking that analyst pay is the same, regardless of having a masters or not. Everyone I know with an MSF came in as an analyst and got the same pay. Now you might come in as an associate if you have relevant work experience, but it will not be the norm.
If you went into F500 work you could get a higher pay grade, but large companies tend to associate an MSF with an MBA and pay accordingly.
Haha no there absolutely zero impact on pay in IB due to you having your MSF... all that really means to them is that you know what someone with an undergraduate education in business would be expected to know... You don't get a pay raise...
