MUST HAVE TOOL FOR RECRUITING

One of the most challenging parts of the recruiting process is keeping track of everything. You have to keep track of everyone you've reached out to and had conversations with, you have to keep track of all the firms you've applied to as well as which divisions you applied for, and you have to keep track of all your resources and documents to make sure you're moving in the right direction.

When I went through recruiting, I used an Excel spreadsheet to help me stay organized. The worst part of this was that I had to manually update the spreadsheet whenever I had a new conversation or applied to a new position. I spent hours trying to automate the spreadsheet, which did help, but still required manual work at the end of the day.

I've recently been building out Jackfruit.ai, a tool that does everything in the job process except the actual application (think CRM for the job process). Jackfruit organizes a user's contacts, seamlessly integrates his or her job applications, and stores documents and resources all in one platform. We even have a 1-Click chrome extension to add jobs / applications from LinkedIn to the platform.

We're launching a beta kicking off next week (most likely) and if you'd like access, sign up here!

Sounds promising, how does it work if I apply to a job through a banks website? Do you track that automatically or do I have to input that? That’d be powerful if you had a chrome extension or something for that.

My concern is giving a lot of private information to a random startup from WSO. WallStreetOasis.com if you could verify this that’d be huge but Ik that’s not really your job.

Great question, we currently can't track you actually applying, it'd be pretty tough to map it out since each firm has a unique sequence. With that said, you can easily change it on Jackfruit. To answer your other question, all you're giving is your email in terms of personal info (the same thing you'd do on any platform). As I mentioned earlier, happy to work with Patrick to make this more seamless for people.
