My Next Move - Call On Monday
Got a call yesterday from a PM, who was interested in my background and asked me to come in for an interview either later this week (which just passed), or early next week. I asked for early next week and he said ok.
Since he called me (I didn't apply for any position), I asked him to email me the official position description so we can set up a time to interview. He e-mailed me Thursday night, and I got back to him, telling him that it's something that I'd be very interested in and to email me or give me a call to set up an interview early next week.
However, I never got an email or call from him today. Do I call him back on Monday, or do you think he decided to pass on me?
Don't be passive with anything job related. It makes them second guess your enthusiasm or interest.
He was just busy; no big deal. I cold called someone on a Friday afternoon and he said he'd call me back in 30 mins...never did. I followed up the week after and landed an interview.
