Need Advice

So basically I’m a rising junior at a target w a 3.9+ struck out banking and hVe nothing for sa 2024. I was really busy recruiting 2024 so I didn’t even get anything for this summer and am currently scrambling to find anything finance related. I’m honestly just really stressed and have no idea what to do. My internship experience isn’t great and I don’t know whether to push really hard and try to find anything open for this summer or just go all out recruiting for junior summer. Am I just fucked for banking  or really any competitive positions in PE/vc, I’ve been grinding for months now and I just feel like giving up. Id appreciate any advice on what would be smart to do now. Thanks a lot.

I also networked a insane amount like around 300 emails a wele

Never give up. You have a great profile, things will work out.

You might not have an offer at the moment, but stay persistent with BB/EB/MM throughout the summer/fall. Start to look at smaller boutiques/ PE firms/ VC firms as well. I also would start reaching out to firms about fall/ spring internships, as this will beef up your resume.

You may not have an ideal summer intern>FT offer path, but you will have a chance during FT recruitment in Fall of '24 for Summer '25 start. If you build your resume, develop relationships through networking, and the market turns around- there is no doubt you will be back on track.

Thank you so much! Would you reccoembe I grind out sa 2024 stuff rn or stick to trying to find something for this summer or fall internship for next school year
