Need advice recruiting while working full time

I was recently laid off and have been actively recruiting for a new IB role. Issue is my severance barely covers a couple months rent + expenses, and as a very young person I don't have money to support myself for much longer. This week I decided to take a boutique IB role to pay the bills while I keep looking. Now I don't have the time to recruit (take calls/interview) while working. The group is 5 so stepping out for extended periods of time is very obvious. They’re in office by 9am and don’t leave till 6pm so I can only take calls after business hours. I feel like a pain when that’s the only time I can offer to talk to people. We work from home on Friday so I’ve been booking calls/interviews for then but I can only schedule so many things for Friday.

I’m not sure how to keep recruiting here…a part of me wants to quit and just focus on recruiting full time until I get something I like. I’ve worked way too hard to get booted from IB less than a year in. I refuse to work at this boutique any longer than I need to…I know I’m talented and worthy of a high-caliber role. Not to sound ungrateful for having something in the first place but finding myself here with an unclear path to getting on my feet feels like my dreams are fading away right in front of me. I just don’t know if I’m crazy to take the risk of quitting to find something better in this market…I do have a good amount of traction and feel good about converting some of the processes I’m in. But I guess a bird in hand is better than 2 in the bush.

Any advise or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. I know it’s all relative but feeling trapped here. Thanks for reading my rant if you made it this far.
