Need Help Deciding on Which Internship...

Hey guys, I have a question regarding internships this summer. I will be a junior this fall.

So far, I have an offer for a big 4 audit internship overseas. I don't have any other offers, but potentially may have something in forensic accounting at a local smaller firm.

The thing is, I'm not sure if I want to go into accounting as a profession. I was thinking of something more along equity research or even IBD, but I am not 100 percent sure yet. However, I started my search for an internship this summer really, really, late, and most boutiques around here aren't offering internships this summer.

My question is, if I don't get anything besides the big 4 internship and the local one, which one will give me the most useful skills in the case I don't like accounting? It seems like audit is just pure analysis on financial statements whereas forensic accounting may bring in some valuation work and maybe even a little modeling. However, it seems to be that the big 4 name will look better on my resume for next year in the case that I do decide to go into something other than accounting.

What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for any input.

The thing about an IB job (well not just a little shop, but one with at least a decent regional name) is that it looks good to all employers in finance. If you get one, I'd take it.
