I don't know where your JPM offer is, but assuming it's in New York, you need to consider where you'd rather live/work.
PIMCO is going through some readjustments, might be a good time to start there, might be a bad time. Tough to say.
If you go with PIMCO and it doesn't work out for any reason, you're likely stuck with x months remaining on a lease in Orange County. Great place to live, and there are plenty of jobs, but if you're only looking for finance, you might not find much entry-level work.
Don't overlook PIMCO. Very strong firm.
