Net working after graduation

Hi monkeys,

Ignore the title, it is from a while back. To give a backstory, I left banking (I was doing secondaries and PC Advisory at a Canadian boutique) about 2 years ago, and I left to do corporate finance at a startup here Canada. I had been regretting my decision 1 year into my role, and recently I have reached my limit, and I want to make the jump into a corp dev, M&A, investing, or banking role. I was wondering for those of you who made the jump from a non-banking/non-finance back ground, how did you go about networking, I am finding it difficult as someone who is post grad.

Thank you for all the help,
Cheers
