Networking

I have a couple quick questions about networking with people at a specific firm. How should you go about talking to multiple people in the same group? Is it fine to reach out to multiple people at the same time? I set up a time to talk to a senior associate, but I have also reached out to a senior analyst in the same group. Did I make a mistake by reaching out to the analyst before I even talked to the senior associate? I hope you guys can help me out!

I wouldn't schedule multiple calls. Talk to the associate first and if it goes well they will refer you to someone else in the group. If it doesn't go well, reach out to someone else, if no response, then repeat in a week, etc. It could look bad if you are spamming an entire group with emails at the same time.

That’s what I was thinking, but I really like the company so I got ahead of myself. I reached out to the senior analyst via LinkedIn and the senior associate I met in person during an info session. I framed it as I wanted to hear from multiple people within the company and I didn’t reach out to anyone else.
