Networking during Big 4 internship

Hi all,

I'm a current Big 4 advisory intern (business consulting) and want to be a part of the deals/transactions/strategy practice for FT. I will be networking and setting up coffee chats with teams in this practice.

1. How do I network and clearly express my interests without appearing as if uninterested in my current practice (started internship not long ago)?

2. Any tips to get my foot in the door?

3. Will it be helpful to express this to my recruiter?

I'm open to any and all advice. Thank you so much in advance!
