networking - Invited into office
Hey everyone,
I'm a rising junior at a semi-target/non-target school. I have done some light networking and plan to continue into this summer. I talked to an IBD MD at a top firm (JPM/MS/GS) over the phone, and he invited me into the office to meet him this summer, and some of his colleagues. Is this good? - What should I be expecting and how should I prepare for it? I'd really appreciate some pointers/advice - I'm hoping to land an IBD SA internship next year. Apologies if this is in the wrong section. Thanks so much!
Make a great first impression: be likable, interesting, humble, and above all be interested in them as real individuals, not just as people who could hook you up with an interview. Make sure to get contact info from everyone you speak. This is great for you man, good luck
