Networking question -
No clickbait title here-
Most of my alumni are in the south and I’m looking to recruit at a different regional office, is there any advantage or downside in networking with alumni in the south vs. anyone else in my target location? I feel like if I tell a banker on a call from the south that I’m looking to recruit for NYC or a regional office they’d be bummed out for wasting their time/ I wouldn’t really even have enough things to talk about because I’m half uninterested myself, but they are unfortunately the only alumni I have at the bank so how do I go about this?
If I have a good why/reason for recruiting at a different region/group maybe they’ll consider putting me in contact with someone ? Anyone go through anything similar ? Y’all have got me very far and I’m very close, appreciate it in advance bros.
Thanks fellas
Bump
