When reaching out to people, who do you reach out to specifically? Any IB analyst/associate/vp etc in any group or does the person have to be specifically in the tech, healthcare, industrials etc group in order for their referral to have any weight when you apply to that group? Like if you apply to the tech group and someone from healthcare pushes your resume, does that even matter?
