Networking too early/slow down?
Rising sophomore at a semi target. I have reached out to dozens of alumni and been on around 15 networking calls with analysts and MDs. All have told me I am very early. Should I continue to reach out to people through the summer and fall or wait til winter and spring? Also how often should I check in after the initial call? I was thinking during holidays.
I think might be better to give it till after this recruiting season ends. I would say reach back out when you have a development on your end or see they get a promotion or something ETC.
When does recruiting season end? And for class of 2024 when does it start?
Depends what banks you are targeting. If it's the BBs, EB's they are right as those open most likely in January - May. But RBC will most likely open in a month because they are crazy. So if you want to network - RBC people are your best bet.
