Networking with senior non-bankers
My background is that I'm a student hoping to get into S&T.
Anyways I'm quite often around people who have a lot of seniority in their company, not bankers but your high flying executives etc. Seems like a wasted opportunity to not get to know them, or ask them something which might help me in my interviews for a job. I've thought about asking them how they'd go about valuing a company, to get an inside insight as opposed to the classic DCF analysis etc. but it doesn't seem like a good question. Wtf can I ask them that'd actually be relevant to my career?
