Never interned in IB, feel so behind other incoming analysts

hi guys so senior year I just recruited for FT and got an IB BB gig really luckily. I never did a summer analyst position at this bank my junior year and this makes me feel extremely behind the other incoming analysts. I am literally maybe 3 of 40 who did not summer with them.

Going through training I learned everything really really slow and it has been pretty difficult to get a grasp on everything, even spending lots of time on my personal time to learn and teach myself. I noticed all the other kids were Wizards at this stuff already and I am sure once we hit the desk I am going to be “that analyst” and everyone else is gonna whizz past me in terms of progress , speed, and skills. Anyone please have any tips or advice or how you navigated the situation if you were here before? Please I am freaking out haha thank you so much.

Feeling the exact same way. Didn't intern at my current bank and feel pretty behind. Just focus on passing your exams first and then take it one step at a time once you hit the desk.
