New Analyst Program Goldman

Hey guys! Quick question for those of you who may know the answer -- I'm currently a senior studying Finance at a semi-target school. I'm looking to apply to the New Analyst Program at Goldman during the next recruitment cycle. Does anyone know if this program takes recent grads? Hoping they might understand due to current employment conditions for 2020 grads.

My understanding is that you can. The truth is, these programs don't have rules written in stone. If you impress someone enough, they will give you a shot. If you read the description for the new analyst program, it specifically states that it is aimed at final year students and/or recent grads.

Where you might have a problem is if you apply to the 2021 program, as I think they have a limit on how many months you can be removed from college prior to starting.

This is what I gathered through several interactions with HR when trying to get into Goldman during my last year (didn't work out).

Good luck.
