Not putting SA on LinkedIn profile - gives off bad impression?
Hello,
I will be interning at a big bank this summer. For personal reasons, I don't want to update my LinkedIn profile to include the banking internship experience.
Will not updating my Linkedin profile to include the big bank internship experience give off the impression to people there that I don't care about the bank / banking career path or any other negative impressions (which is absolutely not the case)? Or would the people at the bank I will intern at most likely not care or perceive it negatively?
I don't want to do anything that jeopardizes my return offer chances at the bank.

If you don’t want to update LinkedIn and use it in the way it is intended then what is the point? I don’t think anyone at the bank will care, I also don’t know why you would have LinkedIn if it doesn’t have your professional experience (literally the only thing the site is for).

You’re fine! I doubt anyone at your company would notice. If they did, I’m sure they’d just assume you didn’t go in LinkedIn much / your profile is just a bit outdated.
