nursing major to finance major(actually WANT to be a trader)

im 23 and just recently changed my major because it was never what "I" wanted to become, more what my "parents" wanted. I really want to become a "professional" trader. So far i have just been reading just about anything to do about trading, as well as researching about "successful" traders of the past & present. .But in terms of a CAREER, where do i start. So far i have had a "sit down" if you will, with a financial advisor from edward jones. Other than that, i have been networking from small individual investment offices in my town.
