NY IBD to Chicago PE

Hey guys,

So I'm starting in NY as an analyst for FT this summer at a BB. My goal is to move to PE after my 2 year stint. However, I have no interest in staying in NY. How would I go about trying to get a job at a PE firm in Chicago after my 2 years? I would not care if it payed less, was a less "prestigious" fund or whatever either. I just want to move to Chicago afterwards.

Anyone have any idea how this could be done?
