Of Jakarta, Auckland, Singapore

Hey guys, new monkey here! I'm looking for some advice, as my condition is somewhat unique and I can't find much about what I'm looking for. Basically, I'm an Indonesian guy who is currently a senior in New Zealand uni, with an internship experience in a local boutique PE firm as an equity analyst (did modelling, research, etc.). I'm currently looking for a full time job after finishing in the year though, and I'm thinking of going back to Jakarta to look for a position in a BB IB branch. Problem is that most of them are apparently dying, with JPM being the only one somewhat alive. In the long run, I'm trying to get into a top MBA program, so having a good work exp in a good firm is a must on my resume. In your opinion, would it still look good on me if I joined a satellite branch (assuming I can get in) of a BB IB in Jakarta? What if I joined a local firm in NZ, or a big 4 corporate finance? I'm also thinking of applying to Singapore, but unsure of my chances as I don't know much about their requirements of foreign workers. Thanks heaps for any opinion/suggestions that you can provide! If it helps, I am also networking quite aggressively, doing cold emailing to some Indonesian IB and consulting firms directors, although they're not leading anywhere at this point.
