This is how I understand offers to be made:

AC held -> Committee decides on Yes's and Maybes/waitlists (within a day or two) -> Give offer to Yes's (within 2-3 days from AC) -> Wait for Yes's to respond (usually offers are exploding so maybe +2-3 days here) -> If any Yes's say no, start handing out offers to Maybes -> Fill all internship slots -> send rejections.

Recently did a BB AC in London. I know people who got dinged just a couple of days after, and people who got an offer within the same time period. However, I got a phone call from the firm telling me that I will have to wait for 9 days before my outcome.

Haven't really heard of anyone with a similar story, i.e. that they call you and asks you to wait rather than just not getting back to you.

How should I interpret this? My gut says that I should be expecting a rejection but there's still hope because I didn't get rejected right away like other candidates.

Hey guys I recently did an AC with a BB on Wednesday evening, they didn't mention a specific time frame for a reply. But I didn't hear anything back on Friday and neither did 1 other person from the AC. Was I dinged or do I have a chance next week?
