Only want to move to New York

Be honest with me. I am currently a SA at a small REPE firm and had one prior internship with the same firm. I go to a public university in the south (still top 50), but only have a 3.3 GPA (3.5 Major GPA) and am entering my senior year. My goal is to move to NYC which seems almost impossible to me since I know no one there. What are the odds of landing an analyst position? Is it possible for me to get into a real estate group at an investment bank or any role for that matter?
