I received an offer for an Operations Analyst position. I don't have any experience in the private sector and am unsure would this position would entail. Ideally, I'd like to end up in compliance or equity research but I don't know if this position would get me there.Please let me know if you have any advice.

lol from compliance to ER is a pretty big jump... do you even know what any of these functions do??
I'm unsure of what the future may hold, so I'm mainly focused on whether or not the ops position right now would be a good idea.
