Opinions- SMU or Texas A&M (MSRE/MRE)
Have been applying to masters programs and am looking to get into development/acquisitions in the Dallas/Houston markets. Which program is better for placement, network, curriculum?

Graduated Cox @ SMU undergrad ~20 years back. Great real estate program and, more importantly, network of RE professionals across the nation. I recommend it highly.
Never heard of TAMU so I can't speak to their program.
Go Ponies.
Thanks for the feedback, I’ve heard great things about the SMU program. TAMU is Texas A&M.
Ah, OK, definitely heard of that, just never heard that acronym so my apologies there.
FWIW, I've worked 3 firms since graduation - private REIT, public REIT, regional family owned operator. Each one of them had at least one SMU Cox grad in the office. Executive level 2 of 3 times.
Great insight, thanks!
SMU no doubt about it,
