For securing internships for fall/spring/summer of sophomore year, a common strategy is to reach out to boutique, local IB's/PE's from either one's hometown or college town. Does anyone have an effective strategy for (a) finding target companies that have a high likelihood of accepting sophomore interns and (b) contacting the boutiques directly (i.e., reach out to MD? email of company website?).
