It's just none of my bosses told me they got contacted, so I don't think it means you are done yet. Also HR has not contacted me for two months after I got it, so I don't think it's definitive.
HR won't contact you or your bosses unless there is a problem with your check...trust me--just relax! If you didn't pull anything sketchy on your resume there is no reason to be concerned

Hi Koalaloveit. Sorry for my late response. I only read your comment now... My status hasn't been updated, and it's marked nearly 11 weeks. I'm getting increasingly anxious, but some people's BG checks haven't cleared even a week before the commencement of work... I reckon I will have to wait a little longer since I still have a few more weeks left before the commencement. How's your status now? And when are you supposed to start working?
