Hi everyone.

I am currently exploring opportunities at big names like JP Morgan and am wondering how likely I am to get a position in S&T if I went to a non ivy league UK university and got the standard level degree (meaning not honors but still an acceptable level, 2.1 if anyone knows the UK system)? In addition to that I am in the process of completing a business masters at a top UK business school, Imperial College Business School which is a target for top companies.

Also how much would it help to work any possible contacts to help me along? Or is that frowned upon?

Thanks!
