PE Follow Up

Hey,

I had received an interview with a PE firm back around Dec. 18th that I thought went pretty well. I spoke with 3 people for about an hour and a half. They told me it was really early in the interview process and that they haven't really interviewed anyone else yet. They were not even sure what type of internship in what division they would be doing yet. Its a smaller firm. I sent thank you cards and e-mails out that day and got back responses from all of them. This is definitely my top choice to intern for this summer, but have received a few other offers that I really don't want working with a financial planner again, but they want to know my decision soon. About two weeks ago, I sent the person I had been networking with their an email telling him about an internship I'm working over this summer break that would give me good experience to bring into the summer. Would I be a pain in the ass if I emailed the secretary that scheduled the interview with me just to follow up?

Thanks for the help guys.
