PE On Cycle Diversity
Don’t want to stir the pot or for this post to be taken the wrong way, just genuinely curious.
How much does diversity play a role in on cycle PE recruiting as compared to undergrad IB recruiting?
Look at all of the privately held PE firms' teams on their websites... looks like not at all.
The information forms HHs have you fill out literally ask for information around race. You can take a guess
It depends on the company. Public PE firms tend to be more diversity focused than their private counterparts, but there are also many private firms (often those with diverse senior leadership or left-leaning branding) that value diversity.
