Pimco Prep 2022?

What exactly is this event? I applied cos it came up in my email (I think from Handshake) and I know a friend who's working at Pimco this summer, and I registered to join what seems to be a day-long virtual event happening tmrw (april 13th). I have classes so I can't attend the whole thing. Wondering if I'm just gonna be 1 of 500 kids on Zoom just listening to stuff for hours or if we get to talk to people or how it's gonna be moderated.

Yesterday got an email which only mentions the speakers and topics so not sure what to expect and if it's okay if I miss portions of the event.

I attended PIMCO freshman year and got selected again this year.

Yeah you’re just sitting and listening. Very non-engaging imo but that’s how most programs are nowadays.

They just try to cram everything in one day instead of engaging with students and prospective monkeys
