Please help me figure out what I should do

Yes, I am yet another lost student adding nothing to the discussion, sorry about that.

So my last post was about having locked in for one an a half year without being able to get any internship. Since then I got two interviews for corp dev and P/E and neither worked out due to lack of experience they say.

This forced me to get out of my tunnel vision and try for internship in other sectors. My search has become broader and broader and I ended up interviewing for all kind of things. One of them was P&G brand management. I really really liked it, the process, the people, the job. I got to the very last round and got ditched with an automatises email, I don’t even know why because everyone so far had told me I did great, I suppose it must have been the last interview.

Now I realize I don’t want to do finance. I am not cut out for it. I would probably not be good at it either. I wanted to do it to prove something and for prestige but nobody I care about cares about that. I had the opportunity to reconnect with my friends, which has always been the most important thing in my life and even the reason I worked in prepa and business school in the first place, under the false impression that it would get me in position where I could just optimize for free time to spend with loved ones. Now that the P&G internship is gone I have IB and finance interviews lined up, but I don’t want to do that.

The thing is I don’t know what to do to use my advantage being in one of the top 3 French business school while doing something interesting and that does not require me to give up my life. I was thinking startup ? But I don’t have a lot of actual knowledge or interest of the business world except what I needed for IB interviews and I am under the impression that startup is more technical than that.

Any ideas what I could turn to ?

Consulting might be a good gig for you as doesn’t require finance technicals and you can have a life too
