Preferential treatment for nepotism hires?
Curious if anyone has come across noticeable preferential treatment for the well-connected Analysts/ Associates?
One fella in our group:
-Got to meet with the CEO 1-1 as a summer (EB)
-Staffed on a live deal when he hit the desk that was a month away from announcing, but didn’t need any further junior support
-Lightly staffed compared to peers
-Selected for random recruiting events and gets to check out of deal teams for a full day
List goes on but just wondering if this is generally commonplace
