Prior termination affecting offer

Hi monkeys,

I am going through a background check process for an internship (after getting an offer), and I have been terminated from my last internship. Will the new employer finding out about the termination cause my offer to be rescinded, and if so, what can I do to hedge against it? To clarify, I was terminated without cause and do not have any written warnings that would show up on a reference check. I was not terminated when I got the offer for this internship.
