Project Finance @ Boutique vs BB MO Finance
I'm currently finishing my second year on a MO Finance Grad scheme at a tier 1 IB (GS/JP/MS), and I have recently received an offer for a Project Finance role at a small boutique (30 people, PPP/PFI, renewable etc, £5bn of transactions over past 15 yrs).
If I take the PF job it would involve taking an £10k cut initially, but I feel the long run potential may be much higher. Is it a no brainier for me to take the PF role? Or should I consider sticking it out a year in the MO, and attempt to make the MO -> FO jump internally after finishing the grad scheme?
