Question about atypical recruiting timing

I am transferring to a target. However due to differing graduation requirements, I am half a year behind others in my class. I was wondering....I can complete my degree in december (2011) rather than in may. I was wondering how this would affect my recruiting chances. Can i get a regular summer internship (officially being a rising senior) and then just be able to start full time in january?

I believe you can. I have a friend who did a summer internship, knew he was graduating in December, and started full-time in January. Slightly screws up training and such, but I think there are ways you can work around it if you talk to HR.
