Question about potential job opportunities

Hello, I am an undergraduate student at University of Nebraska Lincoln. I currently study biological sciences and am set to graduate in August 2018. Even though I study biological sciences, I wanted to work in equity research because I have been involved in the stock market since I was about 14 years old when I first started investing on my own. Along these lines, I currently am the income financial coordinator at my job dealing with our profit sales. I wanted to specifically work in the biotechnology sector of equity research as a way of using my knowledge in biological sciences to build credibility. After graduation, I will be going to Europe for about 3 weeks from August 28th to September 18th. This trip has already been paid for and there is no cancelation. I was curious when the best time for me to apply for an entry level position in equity research with that graduation date and trip. Thank you in advance.
